The Artist Boat’s Beautify the Bucket initiative in Galveston, Texas allows artists to paint barrels that get distributed on the beaches in Galveston and help promote proper trash disposal. These bins add art to the community and provide a purpose that helps many ecosystems at the same time. I submitted my first piece in April 2018 and won 2nd place in the Individual adult category. There were many artists and groups that participated and it felt amazing to see my art have such a positive impact.
